About Me

I was born and raised in Montana, and after high school attended Yale University in New Haven Connecticut. After three year of studying absolutely nothing that interested me, I dropped out and went to Philadelphia Pennsylvania to work for the Walnut Street Theatre as a prop-maker. For the next five years I spent time in Pennsylvania, Connecticut, Maine, and California building scenery for theatre and film. Eventually I got tired of building scenery and decided to go back to school and get a degree in Computer Science; which is what brought me to UCR.
In the middle of the 2002-2003 school year I finished my undergraduate degree in Computer Science and am now working on my masters degree in the same field. I've yet to decide on any particular direction of study, but I guess that's pretty much par for the course so I'm not sweating it to much yet. In my free time I used to play pool in the Commons, but these days my free time has all but disappeared. Nowadays I'm working as a researcher for Professor Walid Najjar, and am currently a TA for cs164.
If you were wondering about the photo on my home page, yes that's me from back in the day. Here are some more.
