Lab Attendance
You must show up each week because we will go each lab through one of the tutorials in the lab manual. After that I will grade your exercises. Part of your lab grade will be based on attendance. You must also show up within the first 15 minutes of the lab (i.e. by 25 minutes after the hour) to receive the attendance credit.

  1. Receive Computer Accounts,Register Computer Accounts
  2. MS-Word 1. - Tutorial 1 WD1-1 until WD1-51. Resources:http://www.cs.ucr.edu/~gusta/cs8_datafiles/
  3. MS-Word 2. - Tutorial 2 WD2-1 until WD2-47. Right Click here (with your mouse and then 'Save Target As..') to download the "Tour Letter.doc."
  4. MS-Word and Web Browser - Tutorial 2 WDW-1 until WDW-11.
  5. MS-Excel 1 - Tutorial 1 EX1-1 until EX1-65.Right Click here (with your mouse and then 'Save Target As..') to download "Conversation.wmf"
  6. MS-Excel 2 - Tutorial 2 EX2-1 until EX2-47.
    Right Click on the next file and use"Save Target As..." to download Cafe Sales.xls
  7. No LAB on Monday 11/12/01
  8. MS-PowerPoint 1 - PP1-1 until PP1-49
    Right Click on the next file and use"Save Target As..." to download Puppy.jpg
    Note: Please bring a #2 Pencil with You, since you 'll be asked to fill out the ta evaluation scantron.

    Right Click on the next file and use"Save Target As..." to download Volunteer2.ppt
    Artsy.pot (Template - in the case you are using Powerpoint '97) Question Mark.wmf (Icon - in the case you are using Powerpoint '97)
  10. LAB Final
    The Lab Final consists of 3 question. You will randomly pick up 2 of them and you have to complete them succesfully to receive full credit. Depending on the questions you are assigned, you have to download the appropriate file from below and apply the changes on the downloaded file!.
    The 3 questions are from the below areas:
    1. Microsoft Word. - Download Letter.rtf (right click & Save As... to your local folder)
    2. Microsoft Excel. - Download Budget.xls (right click & Save As... to your local folder)
    3. Microsoft PowerPoint. - Download Marketing.ppt (right click & Save As... to your local folder)

    As soon as you finish I will check off your assignment. I will not provide you any help (since this is an exam).
