At this point, you've already done interesting lab assignments ! You
must have got your own circuit working. You might also encounter some
difficulties while debugging your code. Let's write a report to
document good and bad things happened in the lab. A good lab report
usually contains the following sections:
- Title, date, group members.
- Introduction. Briefly summarize the main content and goal of your
lab. Highlight the main points only. Introduce what language/simulator
you will use.
- Lab content. Describe details about the lab content. What is the
objective? What is the design approach? What components need to be
implemented ? How do you test your design?
- Problems, solved and unsolved. This is the most interesting part and
will be read carefully. We are interested in finding out what are the
common pitfalls and the root cause of them. You are strongly
encouraged to record your ``wrong'' code and corrections and send them
to yluo at cs.ucr.edu.
- Conclusion and references. Summarize your work and give credits to
other people's work.
