I currently work as a software engineer at Google.

In December 2006, I received my Ph.D. in Computer Science at University of California, Riverside. My advisor is Dr. Eamonn Keogh. I was a member of UCR Database Lab. Before joining UCR, I received BS and MS degrees in Computer Science, both from Fudan University, China.

• I did my Ph.D. defense on Nov. 15, 2006. Here are my defense slides (warning: size of the file is about 25M).

• I contributed to the UCR Time Series Classification/Clustering page.

• I generalized the SAX code to handle the N/n not equal an integer case, and to allow alphabet sizes up to 20.
