You will need a CS account in order to conduct the labs in the lab manual. At any given time, you can view your account info (username/passwd) by going to https://www.cs.ucr.edu/studentinfo/ and providing your Student ID, Student email address and Permpin.
Please save all your files under H: drive NOT A: drive nor "My Documents".
Do backup your files if you need them by end of each quarter since your account will be purged after that.
Attendance & credit:
It is required that you attend all scheduled lab meetings on time. It's worth 5 points.
You must have your work checked off (15 points max) before leaving lab in order to receive credit. Once your have been checked off, you may leave.
Notes:
Simply follow the blue instructions in your lab manual.
Don't forget to save your documents often by pressing Ctrl-S
Don't forget to logout TWICE. Remember, you've login one from Linux and another from Windows.
