LAB 2

Making folders for CS005

1. Click on start
2. Click on My Computer
3. Click on On the network drive under the "Network Drives" section.
4. Click on the folder ".win.profile.DO.NOT.DELETE"
5. Click on the folder "docs"
6. Click on the folder "Visual Studio 2005"
7. Click on the folder "Projects"
   You should now be in the folder "H:\.win.profile.DO.NOT.DELETE\docs\Visual Studio 2005\Projects"
   
8. Create a folder called "Assigments"
9. Double click on the folder called assignments. 
10. Create a folder called "assigment1"
    NOTE:  This is where you will save your assigment 1
11. Go to the folder above by pressing the up 1 folder icon
    You should now be in the folder "H:\.win.profile.DO.NOT.DELETE\docs\Visual Studio 2005\Projects"
12. Create a folder called "labs"
13. Double click on folder labs
14. Create a folder called "lab2"
15. Close the window.

Starting VB 2005

1. Click on "Start"
2. Click on "All Programs"
3. Click on "Microsoft Visual Studio 2005"
4. Click on the "Microsoft Visual Studio 2005" sub menu
   
5. Click on visual basic development settings then click on "Start Visual Studio"
   
6. Click on file then "new project"
7. Click on "windows application", and in the name textbox, write part1

8. Click on ok

Save

1. Click on "File"
2. Click on "Save all"
3. Browse to the lab 2 folder (H:\\nemo.cs.ucr.edu\tmatinde\.win.profile.DO.NOT.DELETE\docs\Visual Studio 2005\Projects\labs\lab2
4. Change the name if you need to.
5. Press ok
