This document reflects My Opinion about Lee Iacocca and his Autobiography......I have written this in hurry to tell my friends about this book.... but will update it some day......--Shalen

Lee Iacocca was an individual who graduated from Lehigh University, PA, in 1945 and received a master's degree in engineering from Princeton University in 1946. He was hired by Ford as an engineer in 1946, but he soon proved his mettle that he was better suited as a Manager. Working at Ford, he introduced programs as 56 for 56, (the program made it possible to purchase a new 1956 Ford for 20 % down and $56.00 a month for 3 years) which sky rocketed the sales of Ford Company. Father of the Mustang, Lee Iacocca who worked for 21 years at Ford Company was fired in July of 1978 because of the personal differences with Henry Ford II. A man who worked for all his life at Ford was fired – lost his position and status he had acquired through years of hard work! With an urge to fight back, Iacocca joined forces with Chrysler on November 2, 1978, which was on the roads of bankruptcy. The Autobiography speaks about the extraordinary professionalism displayed by the Iacocca in the hour of crisis and about his unflinching commitment for investing efforts to bring Chrysler back to business. The year was 1984, and  Chrysler announced a profit of $2,400,000,000. Lee Iacocca made a history. He became a hero.
