This week lab
(from Toby's instruction)
Introduction
In the last several weeks, you have learned how to create simple web
pages by hand. There are many tools available, however, to make our
lives easier when working with web pages, and many of those tools are
free.
The Mozilla web browser has a built-in HTML editor called Composer,
which you are going to use to do this week's lab.
The Assignment
The link below leads to an on-line Composer tutorial. Your assignment
is to complete steps 1 - 9 of the tutorial.
Note that the tutorial asks you to download a zip file. You can also
download the necessary files from here sylabus.html,
china.html, and the image
china_logo.gif
How to download a file
- Right click on the link
- Select "Save Target As..."
or "Save Link Target As..."
from the pop-up menu.
- Double click "My Computer"
icon on the left.
- It will display a list of places where you can save your file,
you should see a line with your account name (that is H: drive). Double
click on it to open. Click on "Save"
button at the right bottom. Now your file is saved.
Once you have finished steps 1 - 9,
