Eric Cheung obtained his Ph.D. in Computer Science at University of California Riverside in Auguest 2009. His thesis advisor is Professor Harry Hsieh. His research interests include embedded system architecture and design automation, with emphasis on multiprocessor system-on-chip hardware and software designs.
Before joining UCR, he recieved a bachelor degree in Computer Science and Engineering at University of California Los Angeles in 2004 with the highest honor.
