• Get login name and password for the lab computers (click here)


• Connect into windows
  In order to connect to the windows you should follow these steps:
  First login into the Linux machines, with your username and password. Then go to the Main Menu and choose Run Program. Inside this field type konsole. You will see a konsole window appear. There type windows and hit enter. The windows login screen will appear! By using the same username and password that you used to login to the Linux machines you will be able to login to the Windows.


• Secure Log out Procedure
  In order to logout securly, first we will have to logout from the windows and then from the Linux machines. To log-out from the Windows Go to: Start >> Shut Down >> Log off and then OK.
  To log-out from the Linux Go to: Main Menu >> Log out


• Using CS email account (click here).
  Group into teams of 3 people for the presentation and email the Instructor (bradyj@cs.ucr.edu) and me (aggelos@cs.ucr.edu) your team along with a "Company Name". Use your CS email account through the link provided above.


• Subscribe to the Mailing list (click here).
  Through this Mailing list you can send questions regarding the course. The emails that you send will be sent to all the people subscribed to the mailing list. Thus, your questions can be answered a lot faster.
  After you subscribe to the emailing list, sent an email to the mailing list. You can do that by sending an email to the email: cs006@lists.cs.ucr.edu
